Sizzlers = Non-Working, yes they stopped
working around 1980 and then the batteries started leaking Collecting Sizzlers and Operating Sizzlers are two different hobbies Collectors want one of every model in every color. They typically open the chassis and clean out the battery and the battery acid damage. To make Sizzlers work again typically requires repairing the damage done by the battery acid and installing new batteries and possibly a new motor. I recently sold a bunch of Sizzlers to a guy and he later told me he got them all running. He had learned how to fix and or replace the metal contacts. The information is out there, somewhere! |
