All Redline Cars Index
It occurred to me today that there are many people who are looking for Hot Wheels but do not know the correct introduction model years of the early Hot Wheels.  Many folks look at the COPYRIGHT DATE on the bottom of the car then leap to the conclusion that on December 31st of each year the factory completely shuts down so they car remove thousands of perfectly good molds and replace them with the exact same mold except with the next year engraved on it. And that they do all this so that 40 years later you'll know what year your 10 cent car was made! NOT!

Let me know if you find any errors in the links, each links goes to the page where the cars are listed but do not go right to that model

Redline is an affectionate term used to describe Hot Wheels made with
RED STRIPES
on their tires which were discontinued in 1977.
