1967 Hot Wheels

Welcome new collector!  Caught you looking at the bottom of the Hot Wheels car for information.  Everyone does!  Anyway the date stamped on the bottom is not the model year.  When the casting was designed it was copyrighted and that is the date on the bottom.  Usually add one year to this number. 
You can go down to the local store today and buy a Hot Wheels car that is marked 1967!
